Cool video. I think you did a good job. But i think it often depends on the person or what you train for. There are people who come from parcour or train more dynamic elements so that they can do things like the 360 swing but they won't be able to hold some of the static elements (human flag, backlever etc.) that you had in intermidiate. So it's hard to compare dynamic and static movements. But all in all good video :)
@rio_agustian_6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that very hard to do some static move, it's took some strength more than agility
@Dian_Borisov_SW Жыл бұрын
I also find it very weird that he grouped the straddle and full planche in advanced, they are worlds apart. When making such a list, one must make sure to group the dynamics, strength dynamics and statics separately

This is fantastic! I know you did this video a couple of years ago. But I am fairly new to calisthenics. And your breakdown and demonstration of these moves is FIRST RATE! Thanks so much.

archer pullups are for Beginners? ok.
@davidcolley47564 жыл бұрын
If you've done p90x one time you can do it. Overall, it's not that hard. I mean of course its all on a spectrum. Should we start with knee pushups though? That beginner enough? They obviously mean people who have done some pushups and pullups and may have reached a plateau. I've done it years. Was in the Marines, 20 pull ups, no problem. Still can't do a flagpole. Theres many levels to it. Someone bragging about doing an archer pullup and I'd consider them a beginner in the world of calisthenics. I mean again, we can start with old lady stuff. Unfair criticism on your part as they still advance during the video to harder techniques. Depends on where you start. That's not their fault. My grandma has some pilates cassettes for you.
@davidcolley47564 жыл бұрын
I can do 2 one arm pullups on each side (advanced in the vid), yet no flagpole (considered intermediate by them) so there is something to personal perspective on an individual's part. That's life, and both moves aren't easy, so that's fair. However, the fact that they dont start at the absolute bottom level of human capability is not worthy of negative remarks. These "beginner" mark's ARE for beginners. As in those just awaking to how hard the exercises CAN become. Or again,theres a plethora of material for individuals who have done next to nothing their entire lives. Start lifting tomato cans and whatnot. I praise them for showing the different levels.

Ok most those begginee exercises are way too hard for REAL beginners I must say standard push ups, pike push ups and some others (without the cmplex movement varieties) should be for beginners, including some dips variations (like straight bar, triceps and chest dips which are pretty easy). Some pull ups like the standrad and chin ups are also easy enough but will be the hardest beginner movements for actual beginners
