For LED, especially if you play Breach, I recommend going deep in your trades to get store credits and lower that price tag to something you can afford. Letting go of a lot of good cards you don't play for a card you absolutely would forever absolutely is well absolutely something to consider. You can make it work. Sending in 350-450$ worth of cards for 275-350 $ store credit for LP MP LED can really lower that price down to 150-250, the price I paid for it 4 years ago. This is for sure the last moment in time to get LEDs before they are 800 like Mox Diamond or more. (Somethings to consider, would it be good in your deck, do you wheel and breach, dump in yard, can you tutor for it, is breach your main win, do you like throwing your hand in yard, otherwise its a really dead card, will it get banned, also part of the reserve list, absolute monument in legacy and vintage.

Storm-kiln artist can replace LED in brain freeze, breach loops. Much less efficiently but usually you're slamming Storm-kiln for value and then happen on the combo

Enlightened tutor is definitely legal in legacy and vintage, btw. Mystical tutor is not.

LED helps play commanders. Any commander that has built in card advantage or is the win-con benefit from LED. At its lowest it’s a Jeweled lotus #2

Lim duls vault is better than imp seal when you play blue. It does not get hit by oppo agent and you are not as vulnerable.

Only thing you guys didnt cover that would be worth owning are a lot of the card draw options, Rhystic Study, Esper Sentinel, Ledger Shredder, Sylvan Library, ad nause less so with the recent dmr reprint but Mystic Remora and a little situational but maybe Necropotence. All of them are really strong cards with a lot of decks they can go in and out of and especially study and remora they are must play types of cards.

My funniest story in cEDH is that I had the 3 card gamble for my Jeweled lotus and it unfortunately was the card discarded resulting in no turn 2 Pako. Lord I was born a gambling man but was Lady Luck not on my side for that one 🤣

​@@PlayingWithPowerMTG I'd say Finale of D is must own. It's an alternate win con in so many lists. I see so many lists where the win cons are basically only Praetors Grasp and Finale. It's great that it fills 2 roles, and in Cedh now everyone is trying to improve individual card quality and minimize win con slots.

Me, an intellectual, casting gamble as my only card in hand edit: in all the games I have played over the years, I have never been happy with force of negation tbh. It was always in situations where I couldnt cast it for free that I needed a counterspell the most. In those moments I've wished it was any other counterspell lmao

Love your content but I have to disagree with you on Breach being bannable in Modern anytime soon. The reason the card was banned in Legacy was obvious. Better Yawg Will that lets you loop Brain Freeze and LED is cracked. Makes perfect sense. The reason it had to go in Pioneer is a little different. Yes you're executung a loop that empties your deck and wins the game, but you were doing that with some really dogshit cards and Pioneer lacks any meaningful interaction to fight this. No Surgical, no Endurance, all of your counterspells cost 952 mana to counter a thing unless the opponent pays 1. Modern is in a unique place with breach. The cards you can loop are largely pretty terrible if you're on the combo build. You have to put Grinding Station in your modern deck which is usually not a good card in a format this efficient. You're looping Mox Amber because there is no other good fast mana which makes your combo fragile to creature removal on top of everything else. The presence of Endurance also really helps keep the deck in check and it's why you don't see it everywhere. Modern is just kind of in that sweet spot where there interaction is so good and the fast mana is so terrible that it's hard to be a combo Breach gamer. Just my 2 cents though. Cheers folks

I think the point is more of it's a when rather than an if. Because breach is so potent, there will be at some point a card(s) printed that break it in Modern, it is inevitable

They're all for proxies. But in some cases you can't use them, some LGS's don't allow them or you play in a play group that doesn't like them. This video is if you are in a situation where you have to buy the cards, these are the ones to prioritize is all.

Also some of us just like to own the cards in my opinion I get the same feeling of old days of opening packs getting that one cool card as a kid when I buy a single card knowing the card is out of reach of those who only want to budget decks I don’t mind proxying but it’s just a feeling you get when finishing a deck with that one card or more that’s just to expensive personal I don’t mind that some cards are just out of reach it just forces people to be creative again just my opinion
