Reminded me of one big scandal in South Korea in 2021. An actor allegedly bullied his schoolmates during his school days and showed no remorse. He was in an ongoing kdrama. It is a good historical kdrama and because of the cancellation, the production was on hold for a week or so and they got new actor to replace him and filming the rest eps with the new actor and made all the crew re-filming the whole series. So the other actors worked twice and almost all main characters even didnt get paid for the reshoot. They did it as a dedication since the kdrama's story was that good that it would be a waste if it got cancelled too
