If you've ever been accidentally burned for more than 1 second by an iron, that pain hurts for DAYS until the skin heals. One time I fell backwards onto my iron and my arm had a really bad burn. It felt like it was on fire all week long, and I had a compress on it and applied aloe everyday. So to have this type of burn, that was held against Diana's skin for minutes on end, the pain is never ending. The scene where she is crying in the snow, it's because she's trying to cool the pain coursing through her body and soul.

@sumysim3245 Жыл бұрын
It's 200% assault, but usually, bullying is when someone targets a person and bullies them for their status or maybe because they just want to. Which is the case here. Bullying could be physical assault or verbal. Usually when this type of behavior is in a group, like students, work colleagues, teenagers, or "friends," it is in the category of bullying.

Bullying is a crime. Bullying is assault. It's emotional and psychological abuse. It's physical abuse. Bullying roots from violence. Bullies have taken other people's lives. Bullies have pushed people to end their lives. It's just as worse as any crime. This is exactly why people get away with this type of behavior. Because people never really take bullying seriously. I mean, some of you don't even see bullying as assault or a crime. I guess the series is accurate after all. Unless someone's action is officially called "assault" no one really cares. It's like the word "bullying" is nothing to everyone. Until now, do people just describe bullying as some silly prank? Or a "joke between friends". Coz again, and I will scream this as much as I want, Bullying is ASSAULT.

I freaking love Diana because this is how you have to be with narcissist you have to be calculated you have to play their game You have to be incredibly calm You can't react and the only thing that puts fear in them is when you know who they are and you don't give any reaction to what they do to you. I've actually had to learn how to be like this to not be offended to be unbothered because that's what narcissists want they want to hurt you they want you to react. So actually honestly not far off from real life.

The beginning of "Diana"'s story is very similar to my school experience. No one burned me with an iron, but I was severely bullied, to the point where I actually dropped out twice; once in middle school to become homeschooled instead, and once in high school permanently. When I left middle school the principal called me trying to convince me to come back. We'd already gone through him and the bullies' parents to try to end the situation, and it obviously didn't work.

Thank you for covering The Glory. I've been wanting to watch the kdrama but school takes up so much time I can't focus on subtitles right now. Listening to you while doing my assignment helps make everything so much easier. Thank you so much.

I already watched the Glory, but the way Stephanie narrates it, feels like I'm watching it all over again and Mr.Mangobutt is me reacting 😂

The dynamic between 'Diana' and 'David' reminds me of the song Darkside by Kelly Clarkson...and the whole I need a headsman not a prince charming line was some chef's kiss writing.

I’m watching The Glory for the second time. This series is so good. Diana is my favorite. You’ve got to continue with this one. I love your story telling.

I know there's literally millions of comments throughout all of Stephanie's videos about how's she a good story teller but damn man hahahaha I legit just feel like I've turned the shower on and I've had it on in the background. I'm almost done with the but not quite there yet, but it's so clear in my head. It really is crazy how she's able to hit the key points of shows and movies without anything really getting lost. Even things I've watched already I like to listen to Stephanie tell the story. All these flashbacks and time jumps and all this kind of stuff.... She always do such a good job without making it super confusing. I'm hype for season 2 now too and I didn't even watch the show hahahaha
