TOP DAMAGE COMPANIONS: Mage Slayer #2 - Adding Etrien, Chultan Hunter, Skyblazer... - Neverwinter

Here I have added 9 new companions to my ranking list for single target damage, to find the best! I also re-tested the top 10 to double check for module 28! These new companions added are: Blue Fire Eye, Chultan Hunter, Etrien, Feywild Sylph, Fireblossom Zealot, Galeb Duhr, Mage Slayer, Skyblazer and the Stronghold Cleric.

So, for multi target dmg, taken the best 3, any other comp do poorly; was thinking to try Elminster Simulacrum since I have account, what you ll suggest instead

@@Aragon- Cause in the previous video, aside from Regis or witch ( defector was not yet)you stated it was not worth run other multi target better to stay with the single one also for the dungeons runs

Is Book Imp any good? Never saw it then I got a purple one in a chest. Stats are good but idk about using it summoned.

Cheers for update. I've got most of that top ten. I like the honey badger/biitiri for singles. My greenscale bowman has special needs. Im sure of it. I watch him, and he even looks mentally disadvantaged. For multi target, I use the Rimfire. Hes excellent. Moves around fast and his multi attack with all bonuses is devistating. With the new lightning upgrade and other Celestial upgrades he pumels randoms. Just did the 30 batiri side quest on Belora (or whatever its called). One hit on a mass group of mobs in the new area and ALL dead. Very Impressive 👍

​​@larsharsch9786 He's number 5 on the AOE Companion list. Rimefire Golem (blue dude). He hits harder than Regis and IMO moves faster around. Not to mention the cheaper price 😉

@abccba5125 That companion is ok, he's a bit of a wanderer. Not as bad as my Greenscale Bowman. The Rimefire does slightly less base damage, but a huge amount of difference in crits Does around 3x more damage the the Elminster in crits. The Rimefire kills mobs in the new zones by himself. When he does his berserker thing, its goodnight 👍 (My toon is 90k+ with most things maxed out and around 11k dps)

Been using black deatg scorpion on dps for a while now, its expensive but does great dmg and helps the team. Hate seeing tanks or healers using them in content that doesnt require it because it always leaves us at a disadvantage losing an actual support comp like drizzt or tutor and even if a dps ran those theyd be losing a lot of dmg from using a bad striker comp.

Off topic... I played the Mad mage lair Random Skirmish quest earlier and it was a completely new map graphics. It was in a stone colosseum. 1st time ive see that layout and ive done 100s of those skirmishes.

@Aragon- I recorded it. Monsters were unusual also. Was a black dragon at the end before phasing. Like I said I've done 100s of these. Maybe 300-500. I'd have to check my fleece count. Was weird, I was just standing back looking around, lol Might be an ubba rare backdrop, but I'd not seen it before

Was it blue tinted like midnight on a fullmoon? You probably got the Vellosk arena graphics, old skirmish/CTA map You get that one when you reach rouch 3 and fight the fin boss

it does (or at least it did, idk). i know of a couple people, myself included, who had it drop within the past 2-3 years. left it behind on my alt to build up dust myself, until now

I'm not qualified to answer so better wait for Aragon, but Im sure they are; however I think if you use lesser quality summoned, the dmg output is not so different for maxed one ? It mostly affect your IL / companion combat power %

the reason I ask is that I seen a companion at green. Also I had no idea companion damage is based on irem level. Could be one of he things I upgrade last

They are all mythic, except some augments which do not deal damage. And yes, companions deal the same damage on green vs mythic. That does not change

Maybe add traveling entertainer onto your list if you haven't check him out. He would be for aoe, and I'm seeing high numbers for damage from him

I may have the Mage Slayer....but I'll stick with my Black Death Scorpion thank you very much. 100% CA uptime seems far more valuable then a companion that deals...what, around 2000 more damage.

​@matthewcasey4085 wrong, witch can 1 shot a whole group of mobs in the new dungeon if grouped properly. It's very overpowered but aoe doesn't matter to much so in that case you're right they don't matter too much.

You habe to test out the Skeleton dmg on its own is not the best but his Powers are good the dbuff on the mod Stack an the more dbuff the higher the Skeleton dmg
