Nah, Blood's +5k is what makes him good compared to normal Vermillion. But the deck sees ways to put him into Soul consistently enough.

Next year that DZ booster set 6 will come out in February 28 I will give my maelstrom deck with glory maelstrom and other cards from set 6 It's better that I run inlet pulse too my glory maelstrom deck once it comes out in English version

So your opponent has to second guess what deck they're playing against. Only 2 decks can fill more than 8 at the moment.
