We bought a female buff from the breeder that produced Striker in NH. She's no Striker, but she is a pretty cocker. Full of strong opinions on everything. But a great dog. I can't recommend this breed enough. Great dogs that have overcome their difficulties from over-breeding in the 1940s.

I show American Cocker Spaniels and they are an amazing breed, I had 6 of them and have never placed any lower than a 2nd at Crufts with my eldest dog. Family friendly and love children.....

So 2017 an American Cocker Spaniel wins best in show and at Crufts 2018 an American Cocker wins best in show............. Maybe its just a coincidence (plus I am currently showing a pure black and a silver buff American Cocker Spaniel myself but I am retiring from show after Crufts next year) that dog is beautifully cut, a beautiful color, nice shaped head and a gorgeous run, all around a beautiful dog
