The Athabasca Falls Pullover is worked in one piece from the top down in simple double crochet stitches, making it a great beginner sweater pattern. The raglan pullover can easily be modified to any length, and the pattern works quickly with no seaming. This cozy and modern sweater is inspired by the layered rock of Athabasca Falls, Alberta, Canada. Crocheted in a soft and fuzzy self-striping yarn.

I used this tutorial for making my first sweater but made the sleeves to my elbows and did 3” bands. I also made it wide at my “wings”. I’m in shock how easy it was and I just made a tailored spring sweater in 4 days while watching tv. Thank you for a great tutorial! So glad that you moved the join to beginning of the row...I have searched numerous yolk patterns as the join in the middle of a traditional yoke is ugly. My question when doing hdc,is it reasonable to assume that I do a standing hdc ch 1 hdc.
