I'm a software developer, And I can say that AI will surely will be an immense boost in productivity and if we see in the long run we should learn to think big, what I mean is that instead of focusing on job creation we should really think in the end value creation i.e. brands, products, services this is where is real money is. Remember whenever you buy a chocolate or a iPhone it's not the workers who collects coco beans in Africa or assemble parts in the factory who are getting rich but the companies who are using them to earn exponential profits and margin. Ofcourse it comes with an immense risk taking appetite which as a nation we should encourage and create an environment which supports this in this decade and forward.

All fine. I see so many videos and business summits about Indian startups and technology and how we are the king makers. I don’t know 20 years from now. But if you look at every field it is do,instead by American and Chinese and European companies. Almost every field from software, semiconductors, AI, space, supercomputers, databases, cell phones iPhone and Android and to others. We need to first create leading companies and then have discussion. Unicorns America -787, China 275, india 100. And if you multiply American startups to india or China population then it is more than 3,000

We have to first start with foreign companies. Like sachin and binny Bansal used to work in Amazon then they built a huge company like flipkart. so I am sure In future we will have our own IT, Semiconductor etc companies

Even some IITians are not able to find good jobs these days. Situation is that bad. Most of the reviews presenting a flawlessly positive story are fake. I think Indians should just forget economy, GDP, education, healthcare, bla blah ...and first focus on basic questions like: does my job treat me well, does my teacher/parents treat me well? Do we bully each other less? Those are true markers of development.

We have an antiquated taxation system where other than GST no body pays taxes, we don't have Property Taxes like the West. People can keeping adding floors to their ancestral properties. And all the industrialists write off taxes very easily. So how the money will flow in the economy from top 1% to rest of the 99%. If the top Billionaires are not consuming and their net worth is increasing on paper all the time then the only way country can make money from them is by adding luxury taxes or Excise Duty on imports. Other than that only the salaried guys will pay their TDS. Also most of the CrorePatis in top 100 cities of India pay very little taxes. So we can have a 5 Trillion economy but the number of Jobs and quality of life of 140 Crore People will take another 50-75 years to change. First thing first is we should implement a market price based property tax in India and that money should go to Public Services like Schools, let's emulate West in other practices also.

1:12:53 since ur guest seems to be influential suggesting annual state governor’ meet with serious agenda how to help each other manage distributed growth. Every year there should be agreement on task to achieve. So subsequent year each governor can discuss what is hold back progress. This should be 3 days conference to begin with each state gets to hold it in rotation by random selection algorithm. In 10 years make a 5 day event. 6th day strictly socializing to break the party politics. Similar event between all town population greater than a defined figure. Such concentric ring should be created eventually all could be linked to reduce bureaucracy and get faster solutions.

Grabbing the wealth of rich people in a visible manner through higher taxes will be unpopular. So it is better that their wealth is eroded in an invisible manner through financial repression. Its a socialistic anti-rich form of economic policy. Over a period of couple of decades, Heeron ko kaudiyon mein badal do. Though one negative is that this will hit the retired classes hard. In fact everyone above 40-45 will find it difficult to relearn and readjust.

This guy is just misleading people. How do you even measure the income of people in the informal sector? Most of them don't pay taxes, so it doesn't pull down the overall per capita income average. Given purchasing power, India's middle class does not earn as much as developed economies. Even if someone is earning 2 lakhs a month, they're earning around 2300 USD per month, which is still lower than the per capita income of developed countries. I would like him to actually share his groundbreaking research. Why not publish publicly and open it up to scrutiny?
