Secretly, there was a Go Go Hamster Chef sequel: Hamtaro was the third founder of Freddy Fazbear's pizza (William Afton was Hop Pop. that's why he always comes back) Okay but seriously we need this game to get a second draft because the mystery of "how did I find the month-old corpse of a guy who went here today" is way too interesting of a mystery for the answer to be "a computer glitch did it"

man I HEAVILY agree with Go-go hamster chef, like, brotherrr this game deserves BETTERRR and I want MOREEE PLEASEEEE I feel like the ending could be about hamster going mentally ill out of lack of caring for himself not realizing that, yyyeah involving cannibalism in it is already pretty banal, but in that case it could already involve gameplay from other characters, maybe adding a detective from the town outside of the village who heard weird news about this place and has to check this place, it also could be a chance to suddenly change the whole game, the style of it, ost, mechanics... Maybe thats a little too much, but its also one of the easiest, classic and hardest at the same time tropes when the game changes its mood showing you more interesting story details. The hard part is about how to make it right.

Number 8's a REALLY good idea, but I would like it if it also had a stealth element. You can commit flagrant theft, but you have to be sneaky about it, and do it on the days the guards aren't around.

As someone in the fandom it’s like we’re the middle child. Nobody wants to talk about us. (fair as fuck though, the fandom has gone insane without the content and now we say shit like ‘freakymiah’ and horse irving. we literally cheered over emotes of the hex being added to the server)

One seemingly abandoned indie game I absolutely love is called Choreo: Legend of Loco. It's about a reincarnated elder god gaining more followers via his music, and is inspired by Aztec mythology. I reeeaaaally hope to one day see it finished!

And the one with the eldritch blob that you feed and get the target the game should be expanded where the eldritch horror blob starts gaining knowledge through books and then decides to become god of the planet and then it starts to see that humanity needs to be fixed so it grows bigger then it adapts a psychic powers like levitate and seeing into the future and gains infinite wisdom and forbidden knowledge like an actual god and he fixes humanity with infinite wisdom and knowledge

Dude hollow knight formerly being some random game called “hungry knight” and people hated it is crazy, that’s a cool fact. Also the demon that chases you in the dark in The Salvation Project is TERRIFYING. Just the vibe of it slowly walking towards you while you can barely make it out until it’s next to you is awesome in horror. also quick question, what is it with this channel and top 8 lists, why not top 10?

Yeah I suppose it seems kinda weird without context! XD The reason they're all top 8 rather than top 10 is mostly just a KZbin Algorithm thing. The First video genuinely only had 8 in mind, but I've found that having a number OTHER than 10 makes it stand out more, allowing for more viewers, and thus more funding for future stuff! (plus if one video is particularly popular, I have a bit more leeway for a sequal!)

oh about Peeb Adventures, it's still in development!! during a livestream of the dev's other game Hell Michigan (I believe it was Vinesauce Joel/Vargskelethor's playthrough), they said that they were making other games on the side to help fund Peeb's development. that alone sounds so exciting, like 👀 peeb has THAT kind of budget?! I can't wait to see just how polished and carefully cultivated the final will be, ough Also huge agree on GoGo Hamster Chef, lmao. the setup is so compelling but the monster being missingno is just SO unintentionally funny. I wish the dev so much success, there's so much potential there that clearly got squandered due to time constraints (or they could just lean into it lol, the saying about there being almost no structural difference between horror and comedy is true)

I wish some of them had more myself but i want people to know that, some games is just a one hit wonder. Where the devs gave it their all. Or it wasn’t something they enjoyed making. Or something out of their control. In any case, if a game wasn’t enough for you but you recognize the effort in it. Just don’t be a dick about it, game developers also have things to do. (This isn’t directed at you cutcafe mate i just wanted to say this)

Maybe in an extended Salvation Project could be unique each Playthrough and customizes itself for whoever is playing and their choices? And maybe the Demon at the ending not only resembles the fear you chose, but is also able to hear your mic if you’re using one?

Normally I'm a lurker (plus I'm about a month late to this video), but for this I have to recommend "Error: Save File is Abandoned." While not exactly a Game Jam game, it was made for the creator's final year of university, and the game is quite good (at least in my opinion), as well as criminally underrated. The general premise is similar to Peeb Adventures, namely the video game hasn't been played by a person in years. That's all I'm really going to say about it, because it is absolutely a game best experienced blind. The creator has expressed thoughts about expanding the game at some point, so that will definitely be something to look out for. But anyways, I just wanted to rant about a small game I really enjoyed

I played orbo's odyssey and it's really good. The only thing I wanted from this game is more feverdreamy creativity and I got it. Plus, the movement is really fun! I'd also really recommend playing the devs other game "Nowhere MI (demo)" it's peak
