The coast around Blenheim is great to target rig, kahawai, blue moki, butterfish, sharks, barracouta. Occasionally, during summer, even snapper can be caught here.

Great video, but you didn't show the Rarangi Diversion. One of my favorite spots to surf cast when I was living there. Great variety of fish to catch at the mouth.

Thanks mate! Yeah, that was something! I can tell you. Wish we could have seen it. It was unstoppable. And you could feel slow heavy tail shakes in the rod while it was running. Was getting worried that it's gonna take all my line.

Left rods at home more than once..worse when you have your rods but no paddle. Great video

Ehhhh where was this video when we went on our roadie 😅😭. Great vid Mark 👊👊. Also 🤣🤣 I once brought 2 BOTTOM pieces (only) of my two surfcasters on a 2h long fishing trip... what a waste of time that was. I feel ya pain haha
