This is not the problem I am having. I have wifi connection on Windows 10 last week my browswers would freeze up didn't matter if it was Google, Edge or Fox. I type the commands I have found netsh winsock reset catalog (enter) netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (enter and restart) it temporarily fixes it and then about an 1 hr later I have to do it all over again. Do you know what I need to do to correct this problem?

If you reset the router settings would that not clear the internet provider settings?

Yes it will clear the settings to factory defaults. After that you can enter the settings again to correct ones.
