Selah Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you./Inspiration+This verse reminds us of the primacy of Heaven and the need for our commitment to finding salvation in the afterlife. Through trying to become more perfect for our Lord in the image of our Savior Jesus Christ, we allow ourselves to become better people here on earth. This is the meaning of righteousness added on to us; for if we allow the example of Christ to inhabit our lives, in readying us for the afterlife, our deeds on earth cannot help but please God more. /Prayer+ Lord God, my eyes are trained upon Your Heaven, striving to become every day more like Your only begotten Son. In this, grant me strength Lord, for I know righteousness, virtue and bliss will follow me wherever I walk in Jesus’ name and light. And it is in prayer Lord, that I ask You to safeguard for me a place within Your Heavenly Kingdom, for I know my body may fail, as quick as all tomorrows -but Your paradise lives on, burning bright in the hearts of angels. Amen.
