Slayer are the perfect TVR band lol. Very loud and very fast....although I don't think they've burst into flames at any point...James Hetfield has kind of....so Metallica are the perfect TVR band!

I never got their antipathy to the looks of the Porsche Cayenne. Always looked good enough to me. Not the most beautiful car, I grant you, but I've seen a hell of a lot worse!

Actually no. Starmer was DPP from 2008-2013. Top Gear series 9 aired in 2007. The DPP they were referring to is Ken Macdonald (now Lord Macdonald) who was DPP from 2003-2008.
