Agree with Powell that she nailed the pilot persona. Of the actors who were interviewed in their flight suits, she came across as very close to a real pilot. She clearly took in the academics side of the briefs and the overall culture (pilot / WSO dynamic) as well. Unfortunately she was saddled with the cheesiest, unrealistic line in the entire film, but the rest was awesome. Her engine fire scene was so methodically good with a cool hand "Memory Items" reaction. Yes, yes, the procedures were not the real ones, were overly complicated and dramatic, but it's a movie, not a documentary. Point is she did a great job of appearing in control of an emergency situation. Based on the trailers, I honestly feared she was going to be the token female diversity entry, but she came across as just another pilot. I think she did the community proud.
