Ive had Bwoody for 5 years and there is no heat soak at all. Although, I see the logic, the metal intake tube makes no difference. The most important part is a large enough free flowing filter to allow more air flow than stock.

I would love a Legmaker but unfortunately I live in California and have to get a CARB approved intake like JLT. But that Legmaker sounds really good. I bought the car with a modded exhaust and I cannot hear the whine at all everywhere I go people ask me about the whine and it’s embarrassing that It cant be heard over the exhaust so my next mod is definitely going to be CAI but thanks for all the recommendations!
