Mad respect from the research. Hands down the best XC skiing channel out there.

Please add some form of audio description. It is so important that you remember that there are blind and visually impaired competitive athletes in the world who would love to enjoy your videos

Ben Smith ran 401 marathons in 401 days. I ran 2 partial days with him and the pace was slow to allow for recovery. Ben's training volume would have been massive over the year.

How about Esa Mursu?

So, why is there such a huge discrepancy to the training intensity that the cycling elite are following? Tadej Pogacar admitted that he spends more than 50% of his training sessions in zone 2 …
@jimikyytsonen56384 күн бұрын
Personally I think a lot of people even professional conditioning coaches disminish the reality and follows certain numbers too much. With Pogacar you have to remember he is competing quite a lot through the season. This is why some lower levels who doesn't compete as often and dificult races should certainly push their training. They're holding too much and just spending time on the bike that way.

Olli-Markus Taivainen from mainly Ski-O used to train alot. But dont remember any numbers. Iirc Justyna Kowalczyk were over 1200h if you include gym sessions.
