Yeahp! All music is edited in from my end. I turn off bgm when nearing a clear so I can put in my own music :)

Yes! That's originally where it came from. I liked the formatting of it, 2 4-letter words that roll right off the tongue, and its memorable. Also I did love playing chess and I'm shit at naming things so I just stole it from there.
