Oh I loved this video. Thanks for doing it I just purchased a snail cleanser from. Marshall’s and there is no English words on it. A foam cleanser , only used once so far . Always reluctant to buy skin care at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx. Took a chance

Thank you Laura for these most excellent recommendations. One of the best Korean products that I have used are the rice products from the brand I'm From - their Rice Toner and Rice Serum are EXCELLENT- I swear these perform better than the products that cost 10 times more. Also they don't aggravate my super sensitive skin or clog my pores. And the results can be seen felt overnight. For context I am always looking for products that brighten, eliminate redness and moisturize - and this products checks all these points. And the price! I get them on Masksheets and the serum and toner each were like $14 each.

I really enjoy these kind of videos as well as Korean products. My favorite is the Cosrx Snail Mucin 92% repair cream moisturizer. It's amazing! If you haven't tried it yet, I strongly recommend it 👌

I’m also interested in the snail stick for winter, my skin is dryer then. I have gotten Leary of products with any type of glittery flakes in it. Even eyeliners that are metallic, it irritates me when I look in the mirror and there are flakes every‼️ NO BUENO‼️ I always love your videos lol Laura Thank You.

Hi Laura I've been using Korean skincare for several years now and mix and match it with some Western favourites. The ethos behind Korean skincare of gentle formulations focussed on skin health, really suits my hypersensitive, rosacea and eczema prone mature skin. The one area I don't buy from them is moisturiser. Korea is a hot/humid country and the textures of the moisturisers are lightweight for that reason, but I live in Scotland and have extremely dry skin that needs a rich cream. They're not emollient or occlusive enough to trap the hydration into my severely dry and often weather worn skin (cold, rain, central heating etc all sap my skin of moisture). Where Korean beauty really shines for me is the hydrating toners and essences - I just love them and always have a few on rotation and layered. Cleansers and serums/ampoules are also items my skin and wallet appreciate. Sheet masks are a pleasant treat or rescue remedy, but not something I use all the time. I love calming and soothing skincare - it's always hydrating and inflammation is in of itself aging, so they most certainly have a place in many people's routine. Korean makeup is more something I'm dipping my toe into, but is always of interest. Japan also has some excellent products and whilst not to be confused (or lumped in together with Korean beauty), has some similar ethos behind it and often similar price points. Best wishes.

I absolutely love Korean beauty. I’ve been using the Misha foundation in #27 as well and I absolutely love it!! It appears a bit grayish but it’s not! For those of you that have not used Misha, get it!!!! It also lasts forever. I haven’t used that sponge yet but I have seen a few reviews. I think this week I’ll try the eyeshadow, looks beautiful.

Have you tried the Catkin Blossom BB Cream cushion foundation? I’m not sure if it is made in Korea or China, but it’s fabulous! It gives great coverage, a natural finish, and practically blends itself. And the packaging is gorgeous!

Thanks for this. I’m very intrigued by Korean skincare and will be trying many of your recommendations. Funny you mentioned that you’ve realized you’re using foundation shades that are a bit too light- I’ve just realized this as well. Sadly, it came after purchasing several new foundations. The ones I bought are in my matching skin tone but I agree with you that stepping up a shade definitely looks better on my mature skin. There’s such a learning curve to this getting older deal.😃💜
