What are your favorite skin care picks? Let's chat in the comments. Correction: My apologies! I misspoke in the video. The La Roche-Posay Redermic is a retinol. It also has salicylic acid. The Avene Physiolift Eye Cream is a retinaldehyhde. Thank you for your understanding.

I’ve been using the Laroche Posey cleanser for about a year and I love it. I also have fairly sensitive skin so this is great for me.

@@cathyhanson5885 I'm always trying to find a good cleaner. I have dry sensitive skin. A good cleanser is important to me to get a nice clean but not over drying. I love when companies say their cleanser is not drying so I try it and it ends up being so drying

I love, love, love the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator but not the price. I am looking at the Tony Moly I'm Rice or the Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating as an alternative.

This was a terrific video! I’ve really only started paying more attention to my skin care about 3 years ago. In my 60’s, I started with a couple of Dr. Denese products. Slowly I’ve added more as they show amazing results. A few weeks ago I ordered her Advanced Firming Pads. I immediately knew they were going to be a game changer for me! This week, while lunching with friends, one of them remarked that I had a beautiful complexion. I’ve never received a compliment like that!

Thanks for this informative video Laura. I use the Versed Daymaker and LaRoche Posay gentle cleanser. I decided to try DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen because of price and I love it. I just add a little Mac face tint over my sunspots and I’m loving it. I want to try one of the peeling gels next, as I have those flakies from time to time. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

More skincare battles ❤️ excellent video. I do love the Alana Mitchell tinted sunscreen per your recommendation. Thank you for showing different tinted sunscreens. What do you use to get off your mascara ? My eyes are super sensitive so I need something that won't irritate my eyes. Have a great weekend.

I first use my washcloth that is a dupe for the Makeup Eraser. This takes off a lot of the mascara. Then I go in a with a Q-tip and eye makeup remover. I have been using a new one from CeraVe made for sensitive eyes. ❤️

Is that Eucerin greasy? I saw it on another video and the person said how greasy it was. I can't stand greasy sunscreen or anything for that matter. I use the LRP Lipikar Hydrating cleanser. I wonder what the diff. is with the Toleriane. Maybe you could do a battle within LRP products. I love them! For exfoliators I love the Neutrogena Hydroboost Exfoliating Cleanser, and the Urban Skin Rx LacticGlow Micropolish Resurface & Brighten Cleanser. Recently I started exploring the Lactic Acid exfoliators and find them to be better than sal. acid. They leave my skin smoother, and the pores seem tighter. The Urban Skin Rx is pricier, but it is superior to anything else with Lactic Acid that I've found. Thanks for another great video Laura. You are always spot on.

I wouldn’t call the Eucerin greasy but it is very dewy. I usually go over it with a powder. Thank you for sharing some of your favorites!❤️

Thanks, Laura Rae. I love an exfoliator that can be washed off immediately and appreciate the range of options you featured. Another Retinaldehyde eye cream is from Beauty of Josen. Penn Smith highly recommends. I haven’t tried it yet as I need to use up all my other eye creams, but I think it is more affordable at $17 or $18. As far as Retinaldehyde for the face, I use and absolutely love the formula from Naturium. They offer a 0.05% and 0.1% strength. It is elegant and effective. Priced around $30.

Hey Laura Rae! Thank you for this video! Keeping comparisons down to just two items per category is perfect for my addled brain! You look lovely! My favorite SPF is Australian Gold SPF 50 tinted mineral sunscreen. I wear it over Andalou Naturals' Luminous Eye Serum with Vitamin C as an all over moisturizer, and my face is always in the right mood for this affordable combination. I just need a tiny bit of mineral powder, well-buffed in, to provide a soft satiny finish. Super "glowy" skin from makeup is a trend that can be deceiving; I'd rather have a soft satin finish that's healthy from using the right skincare and makeup products together with the right technique for me. These products work so well for my sensitive skin with rosacea. I don't get irritation from just plain tap water like I used to, though sometimes I'll use distilled water as a final spray "last step" to give some extra hydration without adding product to my cleansing routine. Thanks for this video!

I’ve been looking for a tinted sunscreen I can use as a makeup replacement/base. I used Dr Denese day cream for years and they changed the formula so I’m looking for something else as a good base with maybe a little powder. I’m going to try the Eucerin. Nice review !

Love your videos and learning about new products, thank you for that. I do have a question about the peeling gel. I do use vitamin A at night and I see what you're talking about when getting that flakes off your skin after using a product like that. So my question is when should you use a peeling gel after you using a vitamin A. How long should you wait. Can you go in with a peeling gel the next night or should you wait a few days. I don't have a peeling gel but would love to get one to try. So what would be your thoughts on when you should use a peeling gel after a vitamin A night. Thank you
@LauraRaeBeauty Жыл бұрын
It depends how sensitive your skin is. I usually just make sure on the nights I use the peeling gel I do not use vitamin A products. I just exfoliate and apply a moisturizer. You may want to try it on your forehead first or even on your forearm so you can see how you react to it. I love exfoliating my hands with a gommage.❤️
@carolesimmons1 Жыл бұрын
Great video as always! Curious when you use Peeling gel and when you use the microdermabrasion. Right now I’m using Tretinoin in the lowest % 0.25 (?) and not peeling one bit. About to bump up the percentage. Should I should wait until I have flakes to use peeling gel

Love your videos.. so helpful! I’m using the Trader Joe’s SPF50 facial sunscreen.. $8 ..big silicone feel, but I can put on a lot and it dries down quickly. Love it under my powder foundation. You say you are using a retinaldehyde. The Redermic R is a retinol .3%.. a retinaldehyde is stronger-I guess I need to switch to the Avene because I’m no longer getting a reaction from the Redermic. I tend to build tolerance quickly. Is there another retinaldehyde you have used?Thanks!!
@LauraRaeBeauty Жыл бұрын
Yes.. thank you for bringing this to my attention. The Avene is a bit stronger so you may get better results. The Redermic works amazing for me but I do have overly sensitive skin.❤️
