Ok, so I just beat this in the car, not realizing that it wouldn't log it with no internet, which pisses me off to end but fuck it I got points to make. You want to make this level better? Drop the coin collecting and add some checkpoints. Seriously, finding the coins is not hard in the slightest, it's basically just a linear level. The only thing the coins do is prevent you from putting in checkpoints since you can't backtrack, and having to play the whole thing perfectly is not fun. Which is a shame, because the level itself is pretty fun, just not all at once. A prime example is the section with the Thwomp. Jumping up expecting a hidden block and getting a Thwomp to the head would've been hilarious, if there'd been a checkpoint right before it. Instead, it's infuriating. Seriously, this is so close to being a good level, and I hope you take my criticism into account.

Howard Games I thank you for the input, in the beginning i made it as a level for checkpoints but when I tried to place it, it gave me the message so I just though “oh well” and went on with the rest of the level, I’ll keep that for future reference though

@@oombyte Still, you gotta be careful about how you build frustration, cause the frustration isn't the part you're trying to get to, it's the moment when it's released. If a level's hard, but you stick to it and beat it, it feels good. That's the principle behind basically every hard game ever. If you let the frustration build too much, though, that good feeling goes away. It stops being "Damn, that was fun!" and becomes "Oh thank God it's over." That's why checkpoints are useful, because the worst way to build frustration is to make the player do something they already know how to do over and over just to get back to where they were for another try. Your brain just goes on autopilot and you really get to stew on all your bad feelings, and that's not generally the kind of frustration you want.
