I love it but these prices are pretty high. I wonder if these prices are market conform. Definitely not for the average Ghanaian.

You're right. Most of these properties have been brought by affluent Ghanaians. The properties that are considered affordable by the diaspora are also out of reach of the average Ghanaian and, in a lot of cases, these properties are not in the area's the diaspora want to live in.The average Ghanaian is struggling to find even a chamber and hall ( a Studio type apartment). This type of property is not usually of interest to the diaspora, and if we did focus on this type of property, it would put the already struggling average Ghanaian property market directly into the clutches of gentrification making it even harder for the local Ghanaians to find a home.

@@GhanaBound thank you for elaborating. Indeed when viewed in that light I follow and agree with your approach. I am still house hunting, the hardest choice is selecting where to live since I don’t really know Accra well. Initially I will rent and then buy after I get to know the city better.
