I have already completed applications for the first few U.S. MBA schools, but it’s still great to hear different perspectives on how the job market and an application for MBA degree are interconnected, also geopolitics play a greater role in decision to apply to particular region’s. Great podcast.

Hi. Which colleges have you applied to? What's your GMAT score? It would really help me as I'll be taking the test next year

This format is better clear and well structured. Regarding international students yes especially from india I know at least 10 juniors from college and work they got admitted round 1 to m7 and t15 multiple admits. They are now applying to rotman, UBC and lbs, imperial insead and in spain. And I am hearing a lot of chatter after the recent attacks on H1B and opt international students are looking elsewhere. Usa mba is the best but costliest and H1B is a lottery based on luck 3 years to pay off debt and many will have to return. back.

EVERY single professional worker and researcher I know is VERY happy to come to the States now that Trump is back. Data from DOJ and BLS have shown trends from 2017-2024 in applicants and workers on H1B increase in 2018-2019 and online posts show similar sharp increases in interest. Even looking at GMAT test takers, the sharpest decline was in 2020 obv., then we see huge declines in those applying to the US in 2022 and 2023. There was an increase in late 2024 thanks to people seeing the winds changing and moving away from the toxicity of neoliberalism and the tremendous concern people have had over safety. It is absolutely wild to think that there is not going to be a big bump following the start of the Trump years. It would be out of touch to say there is not enormous positivity around the world. If there is a decline, I'll be back in January to apologize and make a donation.
