I love that troll model, but when they glitche out when it dies (a vanilla one pops out and 2 different corpses lay there for 5 seconds waiting to die) and it doesn't work with the Epic Loot bounty trolls (it's just a regular vanilla troll with really weird colors). It's still worth using.

@@JustBlaza Maybe they only do that with Epic Loot installed or some other conflict, but the mod hasn't been updated in years so don't expect it to be fixed. I even DMed the creator on Twitter and didn't get a reply.

first: thanks a lot I really want to try Epic Loot mod but I'm worry that will make the game easy to me (playing on hard) I want to know your opinion is worth installing it? if I install it, I may change the difficulty to very hard

so from the little iv played the epic loot is cool, and im pretty sure the loot it drops depends on game progression i believe. so defeating 3 bosses will have different loot compared to when you first start and maybe kill a high star boar and get lucky with like a wooden club, or a Shield. So personally i think its preference based on using the mod. just depends if you want a little something to add to the game. i dont think it makes it too easy.

@onenaser If you’re worried about it making the game too easy you should change the mods configuration to only drop materials. This means the only way you can acquire enchanted items is by farming materials and then enchanting your weapon. It fits much better with the base game of Valheim.

9:22 Wrong, you can craft a station in which you can sacrifice your useless magic items, then make normal items into magic items. This mod also adds bounties and timed sales to Haldor.

Cool video, but i don't like that the thumbnail has the troll in clear vision, but when you do get to the point where you show us you stay far away and we barely see the troll. It feels a little clickbaity

thats a fair point, i had footage for the troll but it was pretty all over the place. So i ended up scrapping the footage. But i appreciate the feedback, it wasnt my intention. if i do more stuff like this in the future ill make sure to include more footage linking around the thumbnails.

@@xSTONYTARKx dude i swear things happen when im not recording or expecting it and it absolutely bites me in the back later XD. But I try to read and take what people say seriously. Im making things for people to watch so the least i can do is listen to feedback and take it to heart.

@@JustBlaza 1 easy fix for that is to always record everything. But then you gotta deal with picking through a lot of useless footage to find the good bits. But you might just catch that 1 in a million moment. I don't know how most youtubers get their footage, i guess it also depends on the game. Something like an fps that's roundbased is a lot easier to record then something like valheim for sure!

yeah im in that stage of recording everything for something else im working on and theres so much footage but its so much easier than having to possibly miss something interesting that could be used. Id rather comb through hours of footage than have to play X extra time because i would like a specific moment to happen. It takes more time and effort but its worth it in the long run.

I've been eyeing the equipment slots mods for a long time but it hasn't been updated for Ashlands and people are saying it's not working and / or their gear is disapearing.

@Perkele_Itse id have to boot up again here soon and check it out. But im pretty sure it was still working last i checked and i hadnt heard anyone losing gear. I kmow booting up the base game and accidentally loading in without mods will cause everything in those slots to be deleted.

my bad, when i initially was playing to get footage it was the last thing i did and it took the longest to find since i hadnt had any spawn on the island until i found the one shown in the vid. i do plan on showing more of everything if i do something like this again.

I have a blazing-fast pc, and it takes 10+ minutes to load my game. I have 355 mods.

@@JustBlaza A bunch are QoL, but lots and lots add stuff. I have, I'd guess, close to 1,000 different weapons, 500 armors, stuff like that. I'm still working through a few issues I'm not thrilled with, but when I get it sorted out, I'll post a link (if I can) to the modpack.
