Cat Quest 3. You're a cat, you're on a quest, and it's the third time it's happened. But I didn't know Squirrel with a Gun was coming out so soon. I remember seeing someone post it as a tech demo or something on reddit a while back and now it's a real game. I'm also fully on board with Tactical Breach Wizards. That was one of the best demos from the Next Fest.

Ubisoft is equally greedy and they have many other problems which stops me giving them full price. Even if it gets really great reviews, they'll likely only get a month on Connect or whatever it's called.

I wish Outlaws had character creation. I just can't connect with premades these days; that's what other forms of media are for. Cal was a big part of why I wasn't able to engage with the last big round of Star Wars games, though the Dark Souls elements sure didn't help.

@@gamelover2222 yeah that's a big issue for me too. it just feels wrong when they intentionally took a beautiful model and then went out of their way to alter her so she looks as manly as possible. Plus I'm not really a fan of playing a female character. Its one thing if its a tomb raider game, but in an open world, I'd rather be able to create a character or at least have a male option. This was a game that I was really looking forward to, but not so much anymore.

Remember when I was young. Pre-ordering games was no problem. You actually had to pre order them or you’d be without a copy. Halo 1-reach. Gears of war 1-3. Skyrim, call of duty mw1-2. But back then games were actually good. Everyone knew the difference between a good game and a bad game. It was a given that our biggest AAA would be awesome. Now you never know what type of game you will buy.

This Parkour game looks interesing. Had some xp with MotionCapture (almost Leon in new RE games:) and I gotta say it has seriously fluid animations and movement and free running choreography - something that wasn't so obvious for non-AAA games. Kudos to the devs. Gave Mirror's Edge run for their money.

Love & grew up with the OG Trilogy of Star Wars, but Ubisoft's track record these past several years makes it a prototypical Wait & See. Plus, Stalker 2 looks so good & releases just 1 week later with Space Marine 2 & Wild Bastards right on its own heels! Souls-like's seem to be the next Survival's genre which followed the Battle Royale saturation. Extraction's are trending that way as well. Though, at least moreso than not, Souls-like's are still warm-blooded in demand. Whereas, a game like Concord is years behind such a marketable sweetspot. Kinda crazy it throttled a Last Of Us: Factions into a cancelation. Then again, Bungie's assessment of the two now seems like a favoring of Concord's former-Bungie personnel. Pretty sure an adequate Factions would've killed Concord in sales/revenue.

I mean, I AM looking forward to Akimbot and Dustborn based on the demos. But everything pales in comparison to my anticipation for the GOAT that is "Gori: Cuddly Carnage", the game where you are an anthropomphic cat slicing up hordes of evil (probably) unicorns with your sentient hover-board. I'll probably play Outlaws at some point, but not immediately on release. I'm super-curious to see how Black Myth pans out, but I won't be next to my beefy PC to play this until late October, so no point getting it right now.

I'm not too worried about the size of outlaws being too small. Didnt gta 5 take 7 or 8 minutes to drive from one minute if the map to the other? There was plenty in there and overall outlaws seems like it's going to be bigger overall with 3 or 4 planets you can cross in a slightly smaller amount of time. Hoping they have something that makes you want to stop and explore.
