Add a new thread to your pine needle basket using the top of the coil method. A simple method that is great when stitching with sinew and other threads.

Cool baskets, bravo master. I can share my work with you, I also weave from a pine needle, but not baskets, but crafts.

One last thing, Linda! What type of darning needle do you use? A specific number? And where might I purchase them? Thanks AGAIN!!

If you search for John James Darner Hand Needles - Size 17 you can find a couple different sources online.

Thanks so much! This has always been a challenge for me. The basket is beautiful! Btw where do you buy your sinew and what size do you use? I’ve had a really hard time finding it.

I’m glad you liked the video! There are a few good sources for sinew. Look on Etsy. One shop I like there is RPGUNS. Another source you can Google is The Thread Exchange.

Omg Linda! You are the best teacher ever! Thank you ever so much for making these wonderful, videos! The thing I really appreciate is that in your teaching, you always show your stitching close up and your explanations are so easily understood! You're the BEST! Debra
