That is not uncommon, as developers bring oversupply to the suburbs, preventing any real rental escalation and capital growth... another reason why I focus on lower income areas instead ;)

Hi, I really appreciate your videos, very informative but wanted to know how do you manage your properties remotely especially if you are having problem tenants. Does a rental agency manage that on your behalf and do you recommend any as I would like to purchase in Gauteng from Cape Town. Would appreciate any advice or video that you already have on this topic. thanks

Hi there. You are welcome. Yes I live in Cape Town and invest mostly in Johannesburg, so everything I do is remote. I have a management team that does everything from inspections to tenant placements and evictions. It's possible to invest remotely, but best to do so with the help of a coach / expert.
