Just one question. The transition altitude is 12000 feet in Reunion Island. Do they set the altimeters to standard at or above MSA considering a track above the sea, with no traffic ? I thought they would set 1013 Hpa at 12000 feet only. Thanks if someone can reply !

I will never be a pilot, but i have the same type of pressure on me when we are doing blasting in public areas. When you start the warning, everybody get curious ,sticking their heads out of the window, and things like that. Not so fun when you know what happen.
