I had pitocin years ago and the pain was unbelievable it was too much pain The pains were nonstop why was it so rough the dr said that is why its called labor
@birthtoolbox29 күн бұрын
I’m so sorry. I hate when doctors say that. Pitocin can be difficult because of the pace of the contractions.

I see a lot of sample birth plans that say no to the Pitocin after birth, I thought it was given to speed up the placenta's birth, is that also true or is it just for postpartum hemorrhaging? Also what are the benefits of declining the pitocin after an unmedicated birth? Is there a higher risk of postpartum hemorrhaging in a medicated birth considering that the natural flow of hormones were disrupted?

I hope I answered these questions in class, but here are a few more answers. 1) It is given to help prevent postpartum hemorrhage 2) Benefits to declining probably just avoiding a bag of IV solution 3) I'm not sure about the relative risk of hemorrhage with medication vs. unmedicated birth

What if I was given Pitocin after the baby was given because they claimed I was “bleeding out”?? I was given a shot in my though and in an IV
@birthtoolbox25 күн бұрын
Yes, that is very common. Many hospital give IV Pitocin after birth as a standard.

Today my 37 week start and I want vback delivery I deliver my first child November 2017. Doc tells that every thing is still normal but it's depend on your delivery time that it's normal or not plz tell me what I should do for normal labor start before my deu date. And can I use caster oil in last week of my due date plz plz answer me

It is common that doctors want labor to start on it's own prior for VBACs. I wouldn't recommend castor oil. You can consider eating dates if you don't have gestational diabetes. Here is more info kzbin.info/www/bejne/npLFp4mep5aUbcU
