This is so freakin’ awesome Kent! Love the blending of the voicing throughout the song and the breakdown of how you used them. But most importantly…the full dynamics of emotion…that’s what you want in your music…that’s what you want in your life. Just letting spirit flow bro 😎 Be well my friend! And deepest thanks always,

Thanks Kent. Lovely technique as a player and as a teacher, always good spirits and optimism, clear thinking, a lot of study and hard work paying off, and, the two most important things: musicality and love for the tune itself.

This was one of my favorite of your videos. It matches what I like to do a lot, and I liked the explanations. Especially the conceptual comments of making the arrangement work as a whole.

Have watched many of your videos. Great stuff. Lately I'm wondering about what modes/scales match diminished chords best. For example the Bbdim7 in "On a Clear Day". (B-7 phryg, Bbdim7 WT/ht dim (my guess), A-7 dorian etc.) Just a possible video idea. .

That was like twenty years plus of.music experience in 16 minutes! This was one of those songs my Dad would sing and would wonder where he knew it from. Now hearing all the harmonies and chords is fascinating. Seemed.really complicated _ then as yiu broke it down i actually heard/ saw the diminished chords in there. That was a serious.blend of technique s .I ll end up checking this one out a few times.Kent your skill set is.deep my man! I m not sleeping.on the suit and hat either! 😎Would be great to hear you rock a few of those technique s on Tenderly.Outstanding Playing !
