Stonebridge is fine, crab meadow is fine. Yea Bethpage is the goat, black and red especially….There’s many others more deserving though, Rock Hill, Pine Hills, Harbor Links, Middle Bay to name a few. Long Island is actually an insane golf destination I’m lucky to live here as a golfer.

Hamlet Willow Creek is one of the nicer public ones on LI and Stonebridge, Rock Hill, Pine hills suck

That top 6 list is by popularity. Yes Bethpage Black is a must play but you have to walk it and its a trek. Bethpage Red Course has carts and is just as difficult. Montauk is a must play too but i would say there many other courses that are just as good like Indian Island, Islands End, and Baiting Hollow. Long island is also home to Friar's Head which is super private and where most celebrities do their outings at too!

Stonebridge is trash. Crab Meadow is meh. Timber Point is nice. Bethpage depends on which course and Eisenhower stinks. Willow Creek, Rock Hill, Middle Bay are better

Stonebridge? Seriously? Place is a dump. Stay away. U want good golf heres the list not in any order...willow creek..mill pond..rock hill..islands end...any bethpage course..the rest that are county run suck. Ground is hard. Willow creek will get u as close to a private CC. But i cant believe u dont have willow creek on the list. WC is wind watch sister course

Stonebridge used to be Hauppauge CC. When they put up the condos and redesigned it, they killed a really nice course in Hauppauge. The one I question is Islands End. To me it's a 2 hole course. The other 16 holes are just run of the mill, boring holes.

Almose none of the video matches to the courses described. A few videos of Crab Meadow and Montauk Downs were there but shown during the description of other courses. Most of the videos didn't even relate to the courses described. If you're going to do something like this... at least do it right so that people actually have an accurate visualization of the courses.

Yikes. So much misinformation in such a short amount of time. Your pictures don't match the courses you're describing. Pictures of Crab Meadow while describing Montauk, pictures of Montauk while describing Eisenhower Red. Stonebridge's rates don't start at $19; try $55. Eisenhower Red was designed by Deveraux Emmet in 1914. The White and Blue courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones in the 1950's, and are pretty boring. Bethpage Black slope of 115? Seriously? Did you even think before saying that? Try 155.

@@parfessor Bethpage Black, Bethpage Red, Montauk, Lido (although it has condition issues that can't be resolved - not from lack of trying), Bethpage Blue, and, although shorter than the rest, Bethpage Yellow. There aren't that many public courses on LI, sadly.

Picking the Eisenhower Courses is a mistake. Years ago the Senior Tour played a tournament there. He joke was, that the Monday Qualifier was played at Bethpage Red, which much harder than the Eisenhower Red..
