You miss 1 or 2 unknown gem in brussels. Taverne l'esperance, a 100 years old art nouveau bar in a side street of rue neuve. And l'imaige de notre dame, a small hidden old popular bar

Beers are top, prices - depends on the place, but I'd say reasonable.

As a local I would say, never pay more than 6€ for a 33cl beer. And usually it' more around 5€
