Good friend of mine, working at my Ford-Garage told me to stay away from hood-struts. They're fitted to the front wheel arches and these arches are not designed to continuously hold that load. Over time, the struts will cause the wheel-arches to bend outwards! My garage has already seen cases where there's a gap of almost half and inch due to these struts.

I don't know what they did but the engine hood is not that heavy, the weight is also not resting at four different points what divides the weight by 4. we are talking about maximum 10 pound weight on one point. Thats nothing.

Did she ever mention the MPG again from the Process West parts? In that video she mentioned it improved the mpg on her bronco, so I’m curious if it did the same on the Ranger

Nice looking products. Anxiously waiting for the hood struts to be back in stock. I have a question, though. At the 3:15 I noticed what looked like additional reinforcement plates between the struts and the hood. Are those needed?

Have you considered making a retractable rear bed step, or at least a mounting bracket that would work with an existing model? I can't seem to find one that will work for the U.S. Raptor due to exhaust pipe locations. Looking for an easier way to get into the bed for my older bones ;-)
