TOP SECRET SHOW at the Space Needle

Every year, Microsoft in Seattle holds their annual Intern Party, where they book some huge acts for all of their summer interns. Last year was Maroon 5, this year they brought Ellie Goulding and Duke Dumont to the Seattle Center, right underneath the Space Needle. The only bummer was that all of the interns got a free Surface Book and I didn't :/

@@larsosejohansen I also do Lighting in my freetime and help a company in my city. But with Corona I do Livstreaming of Church service, witch is a pretty nice thing to do ;) We are doing it with a Team of 4, so one(me) does lighting, one does sound, anoutherone livestreaming and one does all the text overlay and stuff. It gets pretty professionell right now, becouse we got a great buget to work with from the church. In Germany(where I'm from) the church service isn't as big as in the USA, so we basicly do not have any technic there exept from a view mics and a pretty bad PA, just to amplify the voice a little bit.

@@larsosejohansen We have 2 Blackmagic cameras and one mobile as an IP-Webcam, we fade between them ;) One camera is for the altar and the other one for the pulpit(if that is the right term for it?? Used Google translate xD) The mobile is just a room-camera, and we only use it when the piano is played. We Use OBS and a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro for streaming. Sound is is only a analog console(no budget left :/). Its a Yamaha MG16XU. Lighting is still my private stuff and is controlled with DasLight4(crashes sometimes :/) and a midicon 2(Lovin' that midi-controller

I love your videos they have really enlightened me in the world of lighting! I have a pair of ADJ pocket spots a few LED pars and a Chauvet scorpion dual. I play around with them a lot at home using ADJ my dmx2.0. And have a bunch of pre saved scenes that I have created. My buddy is having a boat cruise party and asked me to do lighting(this would be my first "gig" ever) there would be a DJ and they are expecting a good sized crowd. Do you have any pointers? What exactly do I do?(like I said before Iv been very interested in lighting over the past two years but have never done anything public. I eventually want to do this as a career. Any pointers would be great! Thanks you and keep up the great work/videos!!!

+skaterman160 just keep it simple, make sure all your cabling is tidy, everything is mounted safely. Things don't always have to be going crazy to have a big impact

They are LCD screens, there are no projectors whatsoever involved. And the shapes on the Space Needle are a laser
