It's so true about the video activity. Even dislikes and dumb comments help your channel. People have to view your vid to dislike and leave nasty comments. They dont realize they are in fact supporting your channel by hating lol. As always great video, those skeeters are nasty. They get like that here sometimes. I dont enjoy summer until mid-August usually, after all the biting insects have peaked.

I have been a long time shore fisherman for lakers. Usually on lakes (athapapuskow is my favorite) with a cisco on a hook with a slip sinker. great fun. Spring and fall only for us.

Some really beautiful big fish there, but a big price to pay with those "bugs". I think my Amway repellent ( white plastic bottle) would keep them all away. It has 28.9 % deet and always works for me, although I'm not sure how effective it be in heavy concentrations of skeeters like you were in ? I do think it would be tho. Buy at Canadian Tire, but maybe you have a very strong repellent, and still get eaten alive.
