Hey botgrinder, When youre prints are not sticking on the plate, try sugarwater. Just put it with a towel on the plate and let it dry, just before printing, when youre printer is warmend up. 😁

Just get a magnetic flex plate & use a PEI sticky sheet on one side & one of those grainy sticker surfaces on the other for TPU. Even with my heatbed element out atm it still prints fine. If you need an adhesive Modpodge or Elmer's glue work fine too & result in glossy smooth bottoms.

As much as I like the idea of a 12 or 24 volt 3D printer .. I think I might invest in one and leave it at my mom's 100 miles away to keep it safe. 😆

Most printers are already 12v or 24v, you can just bypass the power supply and run them on DC power, if you can sustain 120watts for 3-12-24 hours at a time....but it def helps to have it in a stable, level place

I worked with my 3D printer for a week straight.....then I never touched it again, too much of a pain to get the prints started, I didn't have a lot of luck with it although I was able to make the famous EDF quad frame with it.
