Mr.Clean was supposed to be a Wal-Mart exclusive a year ago but no word came of him. As for McDonald's: Funko lost the license, they were working on pops for them but had to cancel

I'll be honest, you can't argue with this list but I'm surprised that Captain Crunch, the Energizer Bunny, or Lucky the Leprechaun aren't even an honorable mention but I'm OK with that because it only means that we can expect another upload from you, lol ! Maybe on the next list my guy The Noid might get some love. I would also agree with the Morton salt girl. I also would love to see Aunt Jemima or Misses Butterworth. Not sure if you did this list or not but what about a top 10 pop rocks/ music video ?

I have the colonel sanders one! I usually only pick up characters I like because I’m just a casual consumer I don’t have a huge collection but I just couldn’t pass up on him, it just seemed so random to me but executed so well!

I'm not a huge fan of ad icons but i would say chester cheetah and buzz the bee are the 2 best. They are so iconic and well represented in the funko pop format.

Love the list! My faves are Chester Cheetah, Dig Em Frog, and Toucan Sam. Never got a Tony the Tiger but I’m hoping to get him at the Hollywood store when I go next week :-) That Fruit Stripes Zebra would be very cool would also like to see the Nestle Quick Bunny!

Good top ten,but i'd boot out Fruit Brute and put in Kool-Aid Man...super recognizable and a top 10 in every list and he has the added bonus of shaking him and making noise like actual ice cubes in a refreshing glass of your favorite Kool-Aid flavour,which no other pop does and is an excellent touch.

Since you mention about Ad icons and overseas think of them as status symbols and brands that are reputable and must buy. Funko has made several of them in Funko pop versions like Ronald McDonalds and his gang, Coca Cola Polar Bear, Tony the Tiger, Fanta the Clown, The Kool Aid Man, Colonel Sanders holding a KFC bucket of chicken, Jollibee, Bullseye the Bull Terrier from Target. Pillsbury Doughboy, Mr Planters Peanut Man, and there are many others. I think there should be more of pop ad icons they haven't touched based on like Mr. Clean, Wendy's, A & W Rooty Bear ( I haven't seen a Funko pop version of it yet), Burger King.

Great list. I got the Dig 'Em Frog & Colonel Sanders with chicken. But I would've added Kool Aid Man, Twinkie the Kid, the Otter Pops, & Toucan Sam to the list in your video as honorable mentions. And even though they're not pops, the ad icon mystery minis have been selling out everywhere. Oh, and I can't believe you didn't suggest the Nestle Quick Bunny (chocolate & strawberry versions) as the next ad icon that Funko should make.

The Ad Icons line to me is probably the most successful line merely because of the fact that even though many of them are limited and exclusives those puppies sell! I feel they should have more commons than exclusives because if they sell out that quickly why wouldn't they be commons. I was fortunate to get some of them that sold out in seconds like Geoffrey The Giraffe. However, my favorite right now without a doubt is Mr. Owl from Tootsie Pops. I agree with you about Dig 'Em but, honestly...I hate Honey Smacks LOL. Never like that cereal at all! I would love to see them make the combined pop culture ad icons, like Bart Simpson holding a Butterfinger or Fred and Barney with Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles. I would also personally love Wendel The Baker from Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Aunt Jemima and I am also still on the fence for The Morton Salt Girl. I love the way it looks and since it's going to be a common I would very much like to see it up close before I try and purchase it.

Definatly a good list, the Colonel had to be on there! I'd probably add the Doughboy for my love of sweets, and the Energizer bunny for all those AA batteries for my gaming controllers lol. Maybe change one or two others but not sure who I'd take out... 🤔 I think your right with sometimes commons not being as popular just since their common, actually did a top 3 common video game last week to kinda show off that aspect.

Well,thats because firstly hes not in funko pop form yet which would automatically disqualify him from ad icons discussions(though he is a Wacky Wobbler,so hes probably on Funkos checklist for a later date)...Also,while being on many top 10 lists of most wanted ad icons i feel like hes pegged on the lower scale behind pops like Chef Boyardee,the M&Ms,Cool Spot,Planters Peanut,and of course the big one being Ronald McDonald and potentially even Michelin Man and Mr Clean edging him out,he kind of gets lost in the shuffle easily.
