Can you do the oldest "Internet Gangs" and their "Hoods"? I'm curious because I see a lot of hardcore netbangers who are down for theirs.

Hey yall, over 80 percent of you guys are not even subscribed. I looked at my analytics, which I usually never do, but now that I am trying to grow this channel which I created just on a whim years ago, I was shocked to see that 80 percent of my viewers are not subscribed. I never say in the video, "SUBSCRIBE" because I didnt think you had to ask, but I guess all those channels that ask, do it because it works. WOW, I would probably have over 800,000 subs pushing a million subs if all y'all subscribed.

Hey, just to clarify what you are saying, Vincent Owens and Tam were two different people. Also the house that you were standing in front of is where Vincent Owens lived not Puddin. The piru boys started long before when you are saying. I grew up on Piru street and although I was a little younger than the founding members I still remember it all. These are some significant names that will help with your research. Harston Barnes, Dewight Stewert, Sugarman, Peanut, Iil' Mike. Puddin and Vincent Owens didn't come until later. The Piru Boys had already been formed.

Here is another great example of labeling. Did you know that the owners of the Slauson Swap Meet, removed that name long ago and replaced it with "Slauson Super Mall"? They actually despise being called a Swap Meet because they want to compete with the main retailers that are in the mall. But what does the community still call it? The Swap Meet! They removed all references to Swap Meet like 20 years ago, but the name endures.

u might not know that labelling goes all the way back to the 1920's when o.g. cuckhold vandalized the barn of his neighbors horse using ink and a feather quill. After the the graffiti occurred, triple O.G. breastmilk loaded his musket and headed west to confront cujckhold at the ranch. To this day, the community believes the horses name is ''Faggot.'' This labelling shit has gotta stop cuh

Rollin Twenty Neighborhood Blood was originally the Blood Alley gang back in the Late 50's and early 60's. So could they be on the list?
@AlexAlonso101
@AlexAlonso101 8 жыл бұрын
the reason why its not in the top 10 is because 1) there was a complete name change, 2) there was a brief break in gang activity, 3) it was a separate and new gang that formed, 4) it didn't go from Blood Alley ---> R20s Blood, there are about two other gang names in between.
@jeremybooker9904
@jeremybooker9904 8 жыл бұрын
1. They changed their name compared with the others that are on the list. 2 There was a break and part of it was because of the Black Panther Party in Los Angeles. But O.G. Madd Ronald and other original members( mostly deceased) told about The West Side Twenties or the younger members of Blood Alley came from that and changed the Neighborhood, than Neighborhood Blood and to Neighborhood Rollin Twenties Blood. P.S. Didn't The Green Jackets changed their name to Bounty hunter?
@streetgangs
@streetgangs 8 жыл бұрын
The Green Jackets may have changed their name but then it could have been a younger generation starting something new. You can argue that the original Westside Crips changed their named to Eight Tray Gangster, but we would always identify those two as separate identities, but if we didn't, that would make the ETGs one of the oldest, but we didn't do it that way.
@streetgangs
@streetgangs 8 жыл бұрын
between 1970 - 1975 what was the name of the gang there? Answer that, because thats not easy. There was no Blood Alley, There was no Rollin 20s and there was no NHB during those years. What say you?

The media wasn't promoting it because they said Pedro Espinoza was racist, they were trying to use it as a tool against illegal immigrants. I saw Jamel Shaw's Myspace back in the day, he was definitely throwing up gang signs on a few pics. My cousin went to LA high and played football there, he was a little older graduated couple of years before the shooting. He told me that Jamel was never a gang member but he didn't understand false claiming is dangerous and Pedro thought he was a member. There were a few black 18st members at LA high at that time too.
@orlandoramirez3979
@orlandoramirez3979 4 жыл бұрын
@lost Angels you speak BIG FACTS! My neighbor also went to LA High and knew pedro and shawn. And what she mentioned was that shawn had been a participant in a shooting on a latino family in the previous weeks. Not saying he was the shooter, but he was there. The house was a family house where an 18st member lived, but who got shot at was the mother and daughter of the household. Pedro heard about it and knew who was blasted at and that shawn had been there. If my neighbor has her facts fucked up, please let me know. She also mentioned that pedro wasn't racist.

What's up? Street Gang, I really enjoy your videos on sharing the history of street gangs around Los Angeles. I grew up and lived in Compton most of my childhood. I was never been part of a gang and never had the desired to be part of one either. However, growing up in Compton, I was constantly exposed to these gangs. I never understood why Compton was so riddle with gangs? Your videos have answered some of my curiosity. I always wonder why Compton became the place it became throughout the years compared to other cities in Los Angeles. I always wanted Compton to be a better place to live in. After all It's my home town. Thanks for sharing these videos.

For further ideas, i would enjoy videos on those who were around during the beginning and who have firsthand knowledge of the gangs that are still alive like the once you did with the hawk and bacot.
