I enjoyed watching this. *There are some gems you mentioned.* The biggest win in the designer category was Viktor and Ralph Good Fortune Elixir Intense, IMHO. V&R really went outside of the box with this one... it is a beautiful take on Vanilla, not sweet and I would say dry from the woods in the base. In the Niche category I fell in love with Harvest Mouse by Zoologist. It has one of the most unique compositions I have ever smelled. And Reminiscence Patchouli was an all-around love for me this year. To my nose this is the best affordable patchouli bomb on the market. Much love, joan

At 12:10 Alien "Goddess" Intense and YSL "Black Opium" are two of the very few designer fragrances sold at Sephora and Macy's that I actually like. I just discovered Alien "Goddess" Intense last month.. it's a pretty "tropical" scent and is really good 🏝🏖

V Canto "Lucrethia" is very similar to the original YSL "Black Opium but it's better quality and last 2x as long before it starts to fade. I love the smell of Black Opium.. it's the one of the few designer scents, sold at Sephora and Macy's that I actually like. 🤓

So awesome when your fragrance buys are loves❣ Those fails hurt😩 I love the Zoologist art on their bottles and Cow is adorable🤗 I have not tried any, sadly. They sound a bit challenging. I'd say my fav purchase of 2023 was a tie between Guidance and Bianco Latte. Maybe BL comes in just a smidge higher if I have to choose. I know I'm very late to this game, but a sample of Mula Mula had me fall in deep love💘 and a FB will be my next purchase! Material is beautiful and on my wish list with Overture. I need to explore Vilhelm more, a sample of Room Service convinced me I would def love at least one or more from the brand. I'll be trying Moon Carnival now, too! And YES! Black Opium Le Parfum .... my my my.... that one surprised me. What a magical and sexy perfume. I appreciate the OG but my favourite flanker was Nuit Blanche but this one takes the #1 spot! it's amazing. Liquides Imaginaire is AMAZING. Wasn't a love at first sniff. Hi gorgeous, Thank you for sharing these. Your descriptions are always so eye-opening and intelligent. I did not care for Blanche Bete 😂 Definitely turned me off right away .... the sample went in the trash. Black Opium Le Parfum, on the other hand, was a strong like for me! I agree with your description for that one. I strongly disliked Cow by Zoologist ... Not for me. I think Zoologist as a house is just not for me. Another fail for me this year was Kayali Yum Pistachio fragrance .... What a confusing synthetic mess on my skin. It's hard for me to pick just one "win" this year. I had a few. I loved Montale's Vanilla Extasy - it was probably the most reached-for bottle in my whole collection during 2023. Reminds me of a more complex Flowerbomb. I was really taken back by Jo Malone's Oud & Bergamot. As someone who hates Oud I expected to turn it down right away. But it turns out it did absolute magic on my skin - the Oud is so subtle, smooth, and elegant. The only downside was the longevity. Lastly, I fell in love with Trish McEvoy's "Trish" perfume. It has one of the most addicting Tonka/Musk combinations I've ever smelled. The opening is aquatic and it reminds me a lot of some of the fragrances I adored back in the 2000's. Just a very unique composition overall. :))

Love your video as usual 😊. I bought at your recommendation Santal Kardamon Maison Lancôme and is one of the best findings for me in 2023. And I also bought Tubereuse Castane Maison Lancôme. Best tubereuse and chestnut fragrance ever. Nobody talks about it and it is a pity. It is divine. Seta by Moresque is great also. Light and airy but with Mhyr. One of the best.

That's a solid round-up. I've very intrigued by some of these. I love Blanche Bête. Hmm hard to pick a favorite this year, maybe Moonmilk by Stora Skuggan. If you love Sandalwood it's worth trying (plus the bottle is fun.)

My top purchase of 2023 was definitely Hibiscus Mahajád from Maison Crivelli. Wore that all summer long. Got tons of compliments. And it was just so nice to wear. I can't wait for it to get warm again, just so I van pull it out.

Lovely choices!! One of my biggest wins this year was from the house of Untamed- called Running with the Wolves - a gem of a cherry 🍒 perfume with some tuberose in the background. I found myself going back over & over to spray it. Its just such a neat scent, I recommend getting a sample. my biggest compliment getter this year was robert piguet's petite fracas! such a delicious pear/chocolate/tuberose mix. Yasss Valentino Donna Born In Roma Intense was one of my most used bottles this year and its probably my favorite "night out" perfume at the moment. top fragrance in the "cheapie" category was finery's not another cherry, and finally my top summer fragrance this year was montale's orchid powder 🥰🥰🥰happy holidays

Soleil de Feu i really want to try! Balmain Ambre Gris dominated 2023 for me. It's my favorite perfume of all time. So mad that Balmain discontinued it but hey If I smelled it every day I would be a happy camper. Love Donna Born in Roma Intense and I agree its very sexy

I recently tried Ouverture, it's indeed a highly projecting one 😍 I need to try more from BDK. I’m commenting as I’m watching and pausing so I don’t miss anything lol. But I have bad news…. I think my skin has beef with papaya or papaya with coconut together maybe? Because I LOVE tropical scents and I was SO excited about Leisure in Paradise but after a couple minutes on my skin, the dry down truly challenged me and that’s the only note I can think of that isn’t in others that I fall IN LOVE WITH immediately. UGH!!!!! I feel betrayed by my skin chemistry lol. I’ll live vicariously through you though. Ok on to the next one because we both already knew I loved Blanche Bete so I won’t pout too long.

Moon Carnival really is a winner! I ordered a sample because of LuuLuu and I was so impressed. Burberry London EPD, the one with the Burberry cloth on the bottle 😂, smells similar-ish to my nose.
