Actually, the rarest costume pokemon is shiny detective hat Pikachu. Although it was shiny locked during it's debut event, some big brain boys took a snapshot encounter minutes before the event ended, and when it did and only then, encountered the Pikachu since it was shiny eligible. THE rarest shiny in the game. Probably

It is the rarest, but it was only obtainable through an exploit, which is why I didn't include it because its technically not legit. But to those VERY few who have it, its insanely rare.

I have several shiny costumed pikachu: Libre being THE one, the London One (I’ve named Elizabeth R) and a non costumed shiny with SURF. My next faves I have are party hat wurmple (x2), hat zigzagoon and jingle bells stantler.

I would say that party hat raticate/wobbuffet/eevee and Christmas bow glaceon are super rare and rather inaccessible. But the rarest and pretty much impossible to get seems to be nearly all costume shiny pichu (other than flower crown) and go fest costume galarian zigzagoon/ponyta. Basically every event exclusive pokemon which was raid/egg locked and released for a brief period of time is super rare and eBay only now.

I’d say shiny 2020 Glasses Slowpoke and shiny 2021 Glasses Slowbro could be considered the rarest Pokémon in the game seeing as we’ll never see them return again. They’re truly a 1 of 1.

Really good. It was my original number ten slot, but its not as rare or popular IMO. I asked around and it seems hat croagunk should have made the list over armored mewtwo. Still, I should have mentioned it as an honorable mention.

A couple of days ago I caught a shiny Kirlia with a hat. I'm not sure if I have any other shiny costumed pokemon, I might have a couple of shiny Bulbasaurs with a party hat. I don't much care for costumed Pokemon so I usually just transfer them. I'm going to keep the Kirlia though because I've never before seen any kind of shiny Kirlia, this is my first. I'd like to get that Croagunk, but no luck so far.

Fragment hat pikachu should be number 1. It is only out 2 days! I actually have a shiny of that. Also party hat nidorino should be in the list as it was also out for with the party hat gengar on that raid day and was only out in raids once just last year in an event… I both have shinies of those two also

Bro my cousin was stuck in Japan during the event for Okinawa so we got super lucky lol he ended up trading me all 3 of the shiny Pikachu balloons with variation colors and the shirt pika I feel extremely blessed that my cousin was stuck in japan
