@@mirrortime I'm not sure but I thnk it's a list of the ten richest living rockers. He may have passed after the list was made or the lister made a mistake. Each one listed would have had some 45 years to grow their money in these times it may come faster than what's accumulated for Elvis. One I heard of in 2009 was the "Top Twenty Richest Living Rockers." Elvis was not on the list. It had Michael Jackson third or fourth he passed shortly after I heard the list.

AJust before M. Jackson passed I heard a list of the twenty richest rockers. 20th was Britney Spears then a bunch I can't recall but at the top was Paul followed by Cher, then M. Jackson or Madonna was third and fourth then I can't recall the order but P diddy was around 6?. Richards was 13th or so, Sir Elton John 5th or sixth, Jagger in the top ten. That was 2009 so some could have easily surpassed those on the list I saw. Not sure if you want to call some of those "Rockers" it seemed like more a list of the richest musicians. An intro to that list mentioned that rating them was done by investments and that some on their list may have rated higher had there been less money spent on drugs, women/other relationships. That may have happened here though I can't see any of them winning over Paul even if they tried.

Just my two cents but I think that this list needs more clarification. For instance, many on this list started their careers during the Rock and Roll era, Jagger, Richards, McCartney and Dylan, then morphed into the Rock era during the late 60s. In my opinion the true Rock era started with the Who, with loud amplifiers and power chords. So Clapton, John, Sting, Springsteen and Bono would qualify and Buffett would be a pop/rock outlier.

He owned the property of Neverland ranch (for one thing) (and that’s no chopped meat) I don’t know Elvis’s alar net worth when he died.
