Before you step into the court, you should have protective eyewear. If it's uncomfortable, change it or get used to it. I got hit square in the eye, ambulance to hospital, out of work for over a week due to dizziness, almost lost my sight. Never ever step onto a court without eye protection. I was playing a junior League game with a teenager... So not a super fast game, just a rogue hit and bam!
