Here's a cool one I saw before I got into touhou. In the game SkullGirls , the character Peacock has an ability to drop something heavy from the air. One of these is a disembodied head of the character Misfortune from the same game, looks just like a yukkuri. I had actually looked it up because it looked like a Japanese meme I didnt know about. EDIT: the game also has color palettes referencing all kinds of stuff. Peacock also has a color pallet that resembles cirno I believe. Might be more I missed or unaware of, been a long while since I played the game.

Very simular sounding openings, with the acknowledgment with touhou in their pallets and a meme it would be a big possibility that it was inspired Satoris theme. EDIT: As for the squigly yoshika skin, I played the game before I got into touhou previously mentioned, but that's really cool to know. Damn, might just play the game again for a bit lol.

Yukari Yakumo has a teleportation powers used in fighting games,Same as Peacock. Sekibanki is similar to Ms.Fortune because both of them have their heads cut off, only the heads and not Ms.Fortune's arms,hands and legs.

I’d like to mention that Asriel is most likely based off of Sariel from HRtP. Specifically the final boss version of Asriel you showed in the video. They have similar color palettes and a similar pattern on their garments. There’s also the fact that Asriel is an anagram of Sariel.

I know a couple of terraria mods referencing Touhou Calamity mod has alot, weapons such as scarlet devil, event horizon, resurrection butterfly, bandit called Marisa and one of her dialogue saying “I’m not stealing, I’m just borrowing until I die”, some endgame bosses having attacks loosely similar to some from Touhou Split mod has some, ice and nuclear fairy staves and scarlet staff summoning Cirno, Okuu and Flan, Flan’s wings and a boss mentioning fumos The stars above has youmu’s sword Even the vanilla game has some stuff, obvious one being marisa’s broom, other two being just theories, town cat named Kanako and a newer boss having some Touhou-ish attacks

No, that was in Umineko no naku Koro Ni. It makes no sense to be in Higurashi, as the first game wasn't even made at the time Higurashi takes place (Hinamizawa incident is sometime in the 80s, Highly Responsive to Prayers was sometime in the late 90s. I want to say 1996, but I could be wrong about that year.)

To continue on some other people talking about Asriel being an anagram for Sariel, it’s also worth mentioning that the art style for the two are similar and both possess very similar elements to their boss fights besides the obvious difference of when it was made and the tech used for each. It’s worth doing a side by side comparison of both fights in full as even the phase 2 of both fights have similar feel to them. Ironically both boss themes also sound similar but that opinion is more so from years of analyzing subtle sounds in music out of boredom so take that with a grain of salt.
