Yet another great compilation there! Man, oh man, do I have to note that Barry White's voice is the true definition of "smooth"! Also, I'm gonna abuse your kindness for a bit, Don, and make a little request (that hopefully is easy to be realized... well, a young girl can hope): do you have Susan Saint James' 1987 appearance on Late Night, or know whether it is online somewhere? I'm asking because I've read David Foster Wallace's short story based on this interview (it was originally titled "Late Night", and appeared in later collections as "My Appearance"), and the curiosity bug bit me so hard afterwards that I'm still itching. Thanks in advance for that... ...and even more thanks for taking the time to make all of this available for all of us, in special we young kids in the front lawn, who had heard of Dave's influence on late night as a whole from the mouths of our fave hosts, but couldn't quite find out why since there wasn't a lot of material showing him on his "peak", at least in comparison with the videos available from the late '90s onward. I for one can proudly say I now know why and I do completely agree. Dave's the OG. (God, that's a huge block of text!)
