Well DnD were a big theme in the manga wich shows lots of events that happened before the very first episode of the anime. Like the main Bakura Arc that basically was repeated in the last arc of the anime and the manga. Also In the manga they state that Duel Kingdom will have some special rules that the regular game didn't, so without any known rules yet, you literally could do anything you want.

What annoys me hard about Duelist Kingdom in the anime that in the dub they cut out the explaination of the special rules of the duels like not being able to attack directly Which then makes it so that 2000 life points actually makes sense yk Yugi attacking the moon, yk fuck it. Kazuki Takahashi made up the rules to a by that point non existing cardgame as he went along, but like the forbidden direct attacks and 2000 lifepoints, yea that sure isn't important

I'm not going to lie, I'm a massive 5D's fan, and a fan of Yusei's "Warrior" synchro's, but I never once noticed until I saw this clip that "Signal Warrior" was a transformed version of Yusei's Duel Runner. That baffled and amazed me to discovered that, and the Speed World 2 similar effects with "Signal Warrior's" signal counter abilities never even clicked in my mind until now either. 😅But thanks for revealing that 😄

For “Attack the Moon”’s original name, “Moon Scraper”, I think it could have one of two meanings. It could be like a Skyscraper, since the Giant Soldiers of Stone and Steel are so tall that they scrape not just the sky, but the moon too. Alternatively, it could be that Scraper is also a play on words off of Scrapper, both implying that the Giant Soldier is reducing the moon to scraps, and referencing the junk pile they are standing it, also known as a Scrapyard.

@@christopherb501 Skull Knight is a Spellcaster Type monster. It's weird because nothing about this monster screams Spellcaster. Think about it for a second. It has a demonic/skeletal Knight appearance to him. So, ignoring his confirmed Monster Type for a minute, what would you assume his typing would be? For me, I think of either Warrior, Zombie, or the best option, Fiend. Except, he's neither of those types. Plus there's the fact that it's a Fusion Monster and his materials require two brain monster; Ancient Brain and Tainted Wisdom. Both of which are classified as Fiend Types. So with everything I say, do you seen the reasoning why I say Skull Knight's typing is weird and nonsensical?

And as for Dark Flare Knight, while it is classified as a Spellcaster, there are a few knights that are classified as Spellcasters due to them possessing magic in their abilities. Neo the Magical Swordsman as an example. Plus, there's the possible argument that Dark Magician is the dominating part of that Fusion. Same thing with Dark Paladin.

wrong, limit overdrive's summon doesn't count as a synchro summon because it doesn't say (this special summon is treated as a synchro summon). For yu-jo you don't have to make a handshake, just accept the offering of handshare. Technically, halfway feature 2 archetypes (yes, utopic is a seperate thing, not just an alternative or subtype of utopia) and both utopia and utopic are extra not main deck theme.

Signal Warrior was my go to level 7 in Duel Links, he can't be destroyed and that saved my butt a few times. We now have Synchro Over Top, which lets you summon a 5 material Quasar if you control Lifestream.

The reason why Instant Contact has no Air Neos Is both ridiculous and obscure at the same time, since there's already something called Air Neos, namely an Italian airline founded in 2001, five years before being premiered in Yugioh GX and six years before being released in Strike of Neos, so maybe they never reprinted it because of that. Either that or there are some legal shenanigans with the TV station that owns the rights to the Anime won't let them use the card.

Some little corrections: 12:43 Limit Overdrive does NOT count as a Synchro Summon. Its like Cyber Stein, that special summon a specific Extra Deck Monster straight from the Extra Deck. But because you need a Tuner and a Non Tuner Synchro Monster the Card kinda mimics a Synchro Summon. 04:11 Actually Yuseis "Warrior" Cards ARE an Archetype. There is a Card named "Stardust Warrior" that can summon other "Warrior" Synchro Monsters. It does not summon "Warrior-Type" Cards. It can only summon Monsters with "Warrior" in its Card Name.

It is hysterical that judgement meter has returned. Her chims are heavily silly and the male sing the dub of GX season one theme song is cute. The duel links quotes about kite and his robot is silly and the Christmas party that judgement meter brought about kaiba man made me laugh as everyone dislike him but will immediately get fired if anyone said something. I am not surprised that "attack the moon" is the last card as that is also a card that leaves me scratching my head but the duelist kingdom arc is where Yu-Gi-Oh was most enjoyable where "it is night time my monsters can hind in the dark" sort of speak has made me laugh or the maze monster is a field spell with different rules. 21:50 what is with Konami and hiding Elemental Hero Air Neos as much as possible?! All they had to do was reprint it at some point and problem solved.
