What about tropiocolotes? I've been wanting some for a long while; they are super tiny arid geckos that are not only vocal, diurnal, and handelable, but are also communal, and thrive when kept in large groups. You should definitely talk about them on the channel!

It’s a real shame tbh. So many tiny terrestrial geckos that can be in a cheese ball container too. Just not the arboreal geckos, like hemis or mournings 🥲.

Man if you like working with these more arid microgeckos I highly recommend Coleonyx brevis (Texas Banded Gecko). I have a young female and although I wouldn't consider her handleable, like, at all, she's fascinating to watch and exhibits quite unique behaviors (not to mention that her husbandry is almost the same as a leopard gecko but shrunken down), also they have in my opinion the prettiest eyes of any gecko, or maybe creature, period. This was a great video and I'll definitely be looking further into these rather obscure little species!

Couldn't agree more! I also have a young female. The closest thing I could compare her to in terms of her behavior is a teeny, tiny monitor. She's very bold and active, especially in the evening, and she is super food motivated. I've even trained her to associate my tongs with food to a degree, and she sprints over to them whenever I stick them in the enclosure! She's not nearly as handleable as my sadly deceased male (RIP Pip) but she still crawls onto my hand from time to time. She still makes for it with her gorgeous patterns and fun personality.

Bro I need some care guides, do you know any species that fit this description? Okay with room temps durring day or slightly higher and lights off at night, okay with drops of 68° at night occasionally 65° only part of the year. The ore colorfull the better also. I know many species the make is the only colorful one and that's fine.
