Mine is the magic loop for small projects! I don't like working with DPNs or the ladders they can create. :)

I definitely need to relax more. I feel like I pressure myself to work fast for some reason and get it done, but i quickly learned that knitting takes waaay longer than crochet lol.

The one thing that was key in keeping me knitting was learning how to correct mistakes without ripping out the whole thing! And also, how to read my knitting to avoid making the mistakes! …for your part two…

KZbin is your best friend when you’re learning. It’s so nice to be able to see how the different stitches or techniques are done.

Knitters need to know what finished garment size vs bust measurement means. As well as what is ease means. Looking forward to watching more videos. Thank you.

When I bought my first sock yarn I didn't realise that it was a 50 gram ball instead of a 100 gram. I saw all the video's of handknit socks and as a crocheter I wanted to knit socks too. But I was very confused to find out I didn't have enough yarn. Now the cuff on sock two is knitted with a different yarn. Because I didn't want to buy another ball of that yarn. 😂

When I learned about lifelines I was able to relax with my knitting. I wasn’t worried about dropping stitches.

I wish I knew you cant make socks with 100% acrylic yarn 🙈 I made my very first pair of socks with such yarn... And it was 2color knitted pattern, quite difficult... I used the socks ONCE😂 then they were destroyed🤦♀️. Socks need to be knitted in sockyarn. (I probably have a lot more to learn, please tell me if other yarns do work!). I've heard you can knit whool with an added strand polyamid to make the 100whool hold, but i've never tried that... However, I learned my lesson and now only knit socks with correct fibermix.

Great video! 🥰 I wish I had known about hand dyed yarns and that yarn hanks existed (and how to cake them up). I live in germany and yarn hanks are quite rare at our local yarn stores. I remember visiting a swedish yarn store and didn't buy any yarn because I was so confused by all the hanks 😄 When I learned about them last autumn a complete new yarn universe opened up to me 😅 I'm a knitter for 3 years and still always use the same kind of bind-on/off. When it comes to this I'm so lazy but really want to learn about different methodes. I'd love a video about it 🥰

Hello from Mounds Illinois. I only started using circular needles in the last ten years. I wish I about hand dyed yarns and interchangeable needles. Also about dye lots. I learned to knit with two pencils and to crochet with a bobby pin bent into a hook on string when I was eight years old. When I was older I took some classes at the college. My first large project was a color work sweater made with red heart yarn and it was so heavy and it was knit in pieces. Getting the sleeves even was a big problem I ripped one of them out so many times trying to match the first one.

I'm a beginner knitter, after 3 years...😁 what I learnt from my knitting journey is just embrace the imperfection of my works. Perfection needs time and a lot of practice. And when I make mistake, that's ok...that's my signature😂😄❤️

Such a great video! I wish I had realized that I could change a pattern- I can lengthen the body or shorten the sleeves to fit me :).
