With some messing around, Celica on base can warp in, kill, but not really retreat, so if anyone can reach her she is done for. And she seems to have trouble against bulky units, who will easily defeat her on their counter. But she can still do a lot. Just nuking an support/enemy long range nuke/hit and runner can do a lot of course With the ring, i love the ability to give warp, and also fun to have one of your one move armors suddenly warp in 😅

TFW Caeda is my merge project, but I only pulled one of her before the spark. Ended up with 3 Ivy, 3 Celica, 1 Hinoka, and 2 Caeda (including the spark) before I gave up...

Man, you gotta update these ranked heroes. You can't just have Igrene on top, Lyon on T-1, those never used heroes in AR-D on T-2 and not list Duo Robin whatsoever. People will be thinking on killing Ike and wondering the difference in performance on those two blue mages. I do wonder now if we'll get pass 4 or pass echo soon, echo would be great haha! So I have an interesting question. I do not have duo igrene. Should I focus on getting celica or igrene? (It would take ungodly good luck to get both with my orb count rn) I also don’t have ivy. I do have attuned Caeda.

Probably Celica. On top of being an emblem hero who can give warp to allies, she is also going to be an extremely meta nuke because of having pass built in to her kit.

Really hoping it turns out she is stopped by warp blocking since, technically, she doesn't THE Pass skill, just an effect that lets her move through for spaces, but I know better than to think IS would consider some kind of balance. Also, she could still warp past does w/o that effect so now that I think about it, that effect is there purely to not be blocked by Warp Bubble effects -_-

I'm still shocked at how good a ranged nuke legendary Chrom still is. With the right build, he easily takes down Ike, which is nuts for a unit that old

I really like everything about this unit but I don't know that it has the firepower to take down a well supported Ike. She doesn't target his weaknesses like his usual "counters" do (so the Ike player doesn't need to bring in a specific counter like they have to against AoE or special denial), she's just gonna be trying to bruteforce him. Now, I feel that the best way to deal with Ike teams has always been to go after his team, but the fact that she's required to remain at 2 spaces, and that it has to be the closest one makes it so the Ike player has room to protect his backline, as long as they're smart about it and don't have a backline full of structures. I just get the vibe that this unit will help you beat the Ike teams you were already beating, but not the ones you are not (which are the ones piloted by an actually good player). I'm rooting for her though.

Honestly I think Ike just set the bar way too high on emblem expectations as far as actual unit power. Marth nailed it in being good but having an incredible engage effect. I’m glad celica’s combat doesn’t seem like it’ll just be a nuke button for everything and her engage ring makes sense. Canonically. I do think it would’ve hit that perfect spot if you swapped the special damage for a damage piercing effect, but yeah.

@@bagu2769 I'd actually argue that Emblem Leif is better than Emblem Celica in both the inheritable skills they provide as well as the passive/active abilities they give when equipped.
