Both of you guys have valid points. The title is kinda clickbaity, yes, but that's what Chara has to do because that's what the KZbin algorithm favors. But it would also be good to add something in parentheses that clarifies what the whole video is about instead of just one part of an 8 game, 20 minute video.

Am I crazy for wanting to see a full competitive Splatoon 3 Bracket in which everything is randomised, such as maps and modes as usual, but also randomise every team’s weapons and gear every game. There might be other stuff, but eh, can’t think of anything else that would be randomised. Nobody’s gonna understand this lol

no its pretty easy to understand "everyone has random weapons and gear". its just not really that interesting, because then people cant make builds or comps and also most people are specialized into a few weapons/classes.

They give statistics such as who got the most splats, the most assists, the most time with an opponent's reticle pointed at them, damage dealt, ink consumed, super jumps to you, etc. Generally they aren't a measure of how well you played as they don't favor more supportive or less kill heavy playstyles, a quick respawn weapon won't get as many as a tanky slayer like a 52 gal, and backline and support weapons have less golds that are tailored to them

I honestly think 3 doesn't have as much as 2, and if they keep the current level of it it might not be a huge problem. However, things like making ttek lower points for special while disregarding vbrella and slosher, and the buff to 52 gal definitely show that the philosophy is still there in the background of the devs so it's something to keep an eye on and potentially be worried about
