One thing I noticed is that when equipping weapons that grant skills, you have two weapon loadouts available on your character. Even if you are not actively wielding your second weapon, you still have seamless access to that weapon's skill. My sorceress uses both an ashen staff and a voltaic staff, and she is able to use both Fire Bolt and Lightning Strike without me having to manually switch between staves. (using multiple elements is handy because of enemy elemental resistances) I've already fallen in love with how fluid the combat in this game feels.

Tip: The word “Increased” means additive, while “More” means multiplicative. Essentially, you want “Increased” up until a certain point, taking “More” whenever possible.

Tip for the skill tree: you will notice clusters that resemble a weapon and bingo the buffs in that cluster corresponding to that weapon type/shape

With portal hopping from base to instance,make sure you don't spend longer than 8 minutes away from it or the instance will reset. I tend to throw everything in the stash until it's full while exploring a zone so I can later identify and sell gear. Also keeps me in the combat flow just dumping and going back.

When you get the salvage bench salvage sockets gear so you can get artificers orbs

I am glad that others are enjoying this type of game. Personally, I just can’t get into the “top down” isometric view type of game with tiny on-screen character models. Whether it’s this game, Diablo, or even classics like Baldur’s Gate 2… it’s just not visually appealing to me.

My question is , I am a monk. Which is int/dex class. Does increasing INT/DEX increase damage ? And for my monks elemental skills/ attacks / infused , is it better to level up INT or DEX? Thanks ! Newcomer to path of exile

Kind of baffles me that you can't view locked skills or support unlocks without having a gem first. Such a weird design choice that makes no sense. Also no damage numbers on screen. I'm loving it so far but man, some general ARPG design choices are lacking.
